I consistently buy and sell equipment and before taking the plunge, laying down my hard earned money, I do quite a bit of research. Most of my product research comes from user videos on youtube.com.
I don’t care about the “unboxing” video’s and I don’t want to see the manufacturer’s video with the plug for their products. I want to see the product in use by the people that purchase the products. I want to see how the product functions under normal conditions and under “real” usage situations.
I want to know if the user would purchase the item again and if they recommend the product, if the product is difficult to use, does it perform according to the advertisements?
When making a review video I try to address these questions and proceed with this in mind, hoping that others will get useful information in deciding whether or not a product will meet their needs.
PRESONUS STUDIOLIVE AR12
I always find myself awaiting the MUSICIANSFRIEND.COM “STUPID DEAL OF THE DAY”.
Sometimes the “STUPID DEAL OF THE DAY” is returned (usually upgraded to the more expensive version of the item) or something that I can’t live without. I find the “STUPID DEAL OF THE DAY” items that I’ve received are usually products that have been opened and (sometimes) not damaged. My guess is that these are usually “b” stock or items that have been returned, which I don’t mind at a 40% or more discounted price.
